You will certainly enjoy it and there isn't really anything to add to the car, give you a break.
It's a good step up from the model you had, same step that I made, this is my second, for it to be your third is testament to the cars appeal.
Let us know how you find it when you take delivery, do you know when that will be?

Thanks Paul.

I'm hoping to take delivery at the start of next month. The only option that wasn't ticked with the rear spoiler... Unfortunately, if I wanted a freshly built one rather than a dealer allocated I wouldn't of received the substantial discount.

I'm wondering if i should save up for a genuine one or go for a cheap non genuine one off the bay?

I bought a £65 one off eBay already in primer, had it sprayed up and there is little difference if any. It come with the correct brackets which also had rubber covers for the screws so looks good now it's fitted.
Cost me £80 to have it sprayed.

Enjoy it. Thumbs Up Very jealous that you all have had no problems in ownership. Mine now has extensive damage and is being returned to the dealer. I'm in two minds whether I want a new one now with what's happened to mine.

I read your thread with horrer! It was partly putting me off getting a new one...

Expanding foam in a car is NEVER a good idea!!!

. Just by means of a slight aside, did anyone ever order a Metropolis with tan leather?

When we first started looking, I was rather struck on the Bentley-esque Dark green metallic with tan leather, but two dealers I spoke to said it was a real no-no for resale. I'm not one for buying a car for the next owner, but Mrs Veloce was less keen and we ended up with Barolo and ebony.

Hope all goes well with the foam thing...

Extensive damage due to a whole new dash required and numerous door cards. Micky - I have been offered a new LR a Metropolis in Barolo Black with black leather. What is the colour like compared to my Santorini black? Would you recommend it if I considered a new LR, instead of moving manufactures.

Ben

Hello Ben,

. Barolo is a great colour and suits the car well. Its about 1100 more expensive than the santorini on the SE and SE tech models.

. It's always disappointing to have a failure on a cataclysmic scale, but the brand may redeem itself in its resolution of the issue.

Good luck!

I have rang around but can't find one though if I buy one I really want the black with Ivory but can't find one of those either. I was offered a Barollo with Ivory on Friday afternoon & got excited but got a call an hour later to say that stock list was out of date & it was sold.
