Delivery time from production to Dealer?

Hi All,
Anyone have any idea what the delivery time is from the factory to the dealer on average?
have tried to google it but does not give any clue.
Have been told my Freelander is being made this week, so was curious as to when I might get it!
I am right o the limit of my current allowed mileage so really need this to happen very quickly.
Salesman wants it in his September figures as out of the door to preserve his bonus! that has to help right?
Thanks. Very Happy Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

When I secured my slot in October 2013 for a 1st March 2014 delivery dealers said on average it was a 12 week wait! My slot arrived early but the dealers delayed this into early next year and the car was built within 7 days and that included being at the dealers Wink MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Thanks for the Answers, fingers crossed it happens this month then, suppose all depends on production times and their accuracy. The salesman did say that once his system was updated via JLR he was going to try and have delivery bought forward, as I said, apparently his September bonus is on the line---getting very excited now!!!!!!!!! Thumbs Up Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

Hi Currently driving a Mercedes C250 AMG Sport Plus with all the whistles and bells but with 70,000 miles In 16 months
so time for a change before it really is worth nothing, also I work on mainland Europe a lot and the merc is of no use (as here) when jack Frost has been out playing and snow, well with the merc, forget it!!!!!!!
.
I am having a Freelander Metropolis in Loire Blue, Ebony interior and a rear spoiler on a three year lease with 45,000 miles per year allowance---just want it NOW!!!!! Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

The FR2 will be great in snow, but if you are going abroad a lot I'd invest in a set of second hand wheels and some good winter tyres - they'll make it even better. Plenty of 17" wheels available if you keep an eye out. Most people seem to go for Wintracs (site sponsor AJS 4x4did me a very good deal!) Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Last I heard was that production ends in early October.

Well I ordered a Loire blue Metropolis 2weeks ago, dealer had to source independently has he said no more orders were been taken by the factory, the issue with this was that the boot spoiler which would have cost £155.00 from JLR is now costing £450.00 as a dealer fit option though Copleys have contributed £200.00 towards it.

Looking forward to receiving it. Very Happy 2015 MY Freelander2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, no privacy glass, boot spoiler

Yes, production is virtually at an end as they gear up for the Disco sport.
There can't be too many being made anymore
understand about the spoiler. I initially ordered an Orkney Grey but was told that that colour was no longer available so I had better make another choice, thought this was strange as they still do the evoque in the Grey and same prod line I was told, still Loire blue will be fantastic Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!
