Afternoon Clay Pigeon Shoot

Having a chat with member Vince and we both are clay pigeon shooters

So thought it might be a good thing to meet up and do a sporting 50 or something similar at a ground that suits those that are interested.

It might be better to keep this to those that shoot, with, depending on numbers, a handful of none shooters that could come along and experience the sport under our supervision and guidance. This can be discussed in this thread to have different opinions etc

That way, loaning a gun to have a go will keep the costs down to just clays and carts

An idea could be to chip in a quid or two to do prizes of some description, or as I call it a bottle of plonk or whisk(e)y

I haves added a sign up for shooters and none shooters to see who is interested and go from there Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I have put my name down Nick, been shooting a couple of times but after the last attempt, of which you are aware, I probably need some coaching Laughing

As a suggestion maybe try going a little further South as most of our meets tend to be in the North, just an idea?

Have only participated at the last two Freely outings so I would be interested as a 'NON Shooter' but dependent on the location.

Sign up at the top, Dave Thumbs Up

Just an idea at the moment, if there's lots of non shooters, could do something like the last time at coniston hall, with the shooters going off for a round whilst the non shooters are done by the grounds team Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Ohh, this sounds interesting. I have a SGC and a couple of 12g's. Would like to join in if location and time permits.

Cheers

Censored - just seen the dates, I am in Provence at the moment. Bit too far to travel. Have fun.
