Being completely new to towing of any kind. Could somebody tell me when you need twin electrics rather than single? Also, what benefit does a vehicle specific wiring kit have over a standard wiring kit?

Thanks
Mark

if your looking at just getting the electrics for the bike rack lighting unit single electric will be fine

unless your looking at a caravan and then the second set powers the fridge and charges the caravan battery as well.

I think the vehicle specific wiring kit will mute the rear parking sensors aswell Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Name is Mark forum name peteoheat. Long story but it's a name I use everywhere as I know it will be available! It's a corruption of the term pitot heat which will be familiar to pilots on the forum.

By the way I found this for you especially. Please display it with pride.

I know what you mean

i was taught always to turn on the pitot heating as It won't do any harm, but you would be in a pickle if it stopped working without you noticing it! Same goes for Carb heat in the circuit. Pull it on as part of your final checks. Even in very hot weather your carb can freeze up when you lower the revs for landing.

Carb heat on in the circuit but turn off again on finals. In case you need to go around as the warm air reduces power. Whistle

It is a visible "receipt" that I am paying a high annual fee to run a car with a lower registration fee. It's a van, only 2 seats.
The text on it: The car can be used for private driving:

Because of the foolish rule, I have also a "carbon copy" with the text: THE AUTO MUST BE USED FOR FUN " as a protest:

You can "see" both labels in this picture:

Yes, the Norwegian green number plates are yellow in Denmark, but it's not the full explanation. Company cars (VAN `s for plumbers, etc.) does not have this white label but they are not allowed to use the car after working hours.
Do not go to the Golf Courses after work with the car.
However, I can play golf after working hours because I pay extra fee to use my VAN for private use. Labels are to facilitate "SKAT" 's inspection. LR Freelander2 2,2 Td4 HSE manuel Stornaway Grey (Metallic) & Ebony Black Leather & Sun/Moon-roof & Bi-Xenon & Roof Rails & Tow bar & Body side rubbing strips & Cold climate pack & Privacy glass & NavTeq .
