That feature is on the HSE but not the XS as I understand. (Not all features in the manual apply to all models)

My previous SE didn't have it either. My present one does, but definitely not essential - just another toy to go wrong. Wink 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

My new one has them and they annoy me, take too long to move and reversing with a moving mirror is not easy Laughing

The last one didn't have dipping mirrors, I found that they are big enough to set quite low in normal use and give adequate coverage reversing.

Don't be gutted, the cars other attributes will soon come into their own and you will forget all about dipping mirrors Thumbs Up

I have this feature on my 07 HSE. It is fine for when you are manoeuvring in a tight space but when I reverse along my long drive I get up to a speed where the mirrors reset to normal and then revert to reverse mode when you slow down - makes you think your eyesight is on the blink! John

Set both 'normal' and 'dipped' position to be the same......then they won't move! 2011 SD4 HSE Auto

With the engine on, select reverse, adjust the mirror to your chosen position, save it to your chosen number on the Seat Memory, job done.
