Replace HST grill with new HST grill

Hi

I have a new HST grill and surround to replace my existing worn HST grill on my 2008 HST FL2

I was thinking about replacing the grill only because it's seems like the easiest option Smile

Any advise on the best way to do the swap over would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

the grill bit is just clipped on to the surround but be careful as some of the clips my snap.
The surround is just VHB tapped on. I6 WITH GAS CONVERSION

Thanks Jlcrompton Bow down

I'm going to have another look to see if I can get behind the grill to unclip the grill from the surround.

If that fails I will arm myself with some VHB tape and attempt to remove the surround! Shocked

Many Thanks! Thumbs Up

I've just had the grill on my HST smashed by a pheasant. On ringing my local LR dealer I was told a genuine replacement piece of cheap and nasty plastic mesh will be nearly £250. Sad
So - are you having to pay something like that for your replacement srllgm, or have you sourced a cheaper version?

It's a different part number - doesn't have the LR badge built in, and slightly different mesh pattern.
Do you think it would fit, as can't see what else it would be off?

Can't now find the part I was looking at.
But then I can't find any grilles at all for HST on ebay. Seem as rare as rocking horse manure now that I need one. Crying or Very sad

If you come near Worcestershire I have one you can have. It was an exchange I did but never got round to fitting it.
