Another Newbie saying Helloooooo . . . and Coin Storage ques

Hi all!! Well, i've finally managed to move over to the Freelander 2 . . after years of wishing and wanting, my time has come!! Only had it for a week, but god I love it already!! It's a 2011 GS, colour is, well either Aintree or Galway green (better look when log book gets here!) - but have to thank the previous owner (who they were!) for all the extra little goodies they had fitted! Front sensors, clearview pack, part leather, power fold door mirrors (or they standard on GS) DAB radio . .

After all the admiring, i've got round to adding all my stuff in it!! And one thing that I do miss, is somewhere discreet to put my loose change! Normally drop into ash tray! But nothing there . . i've seen a few pics of peoples cars where they have what I can only guess is an ash tray fitted into one of the drinks holders in centre console. But can I find them anywhere?!?! Any ideas and pointers would be most welcome Very Happy

Things I want to add to it - roof bars, for no reason other that I like the look of them! Rubber mats all round - cause wife is a mucky Censored !!! Very Happy and eventually a sat nav in the 'hole'

Guys, great forum, glad to be on-board!!!

Welcome.
Ashtray comes as part of smokers pack which was a no cost option. Probably possible to buy one.
Give Dan@DuckworthParts (forum sponsor) a call and he'll let you know the cost and availability.

Ash tray is a Ford part which you can buy from you Land Rover dealer. Really Cheap.

Yes

Yes there is a somewhat inadequate coin storage place in the glove box lid, which takes about 3 £1 coins or similar. Other than than, I just chuck mine in one of the centre console slots, usually under a drink bottle. I think newer FL2s may have something better. Life is not a dress rehearsal!

United States 2015 LR2 2.0T SE Auto Aintree Green

If you want to verify your color before the log book look on the bottom on the "Built by Land Rover in the UK" VIN sticker in the driver's door jamb... it should give you the paint code and name!

I'm a little partial to Aintree Green myself! Current: 2015 Land Rover LR2, Aintree Green
Past: 2013 Range Rover Evoque, Fuji White
Past: 2012 Land Rover LR2, Baltic Blue
Past: 2006 Land Rover LR3, Tonga Green
Past: 2003 Range Rover, Epsom Green

Ah cheers buddy . . soon as I can drag myself out of bed, I'm going to be checking that 😃 I did read something somewhere about colours being affected by anearthquake in Japan - where the paint comes from (apparently) I might of course dreamt it lol
