Returning to 4 x 4 after 2 1/2 years break with a Audi Avant S Line
I had a lot of emotions with a loyal 02 Shogun and have now opted for a lovely Oct 11 SD4 Freelander 2 HSE
Problems with the main dealer trying to let it out with the paintwork scratches ignored

Only had this 6 days and I want to get settled in properly so I wondered if you guys can tell me a couple of things

I can't find how to switch on my Daytime running lights

I googled how to link my iphone to the 6 cd changer radio and although I'm plugged in nothing comes out of aux imput on the radio, The 3.5 mm jack to jack plug works elsewhere so I wondered if it's a two wire connection

I've covered 90 miles so far and nearly used 1/4 of a tank after filling to the brim so I can work out average mpg to compare against your other members quotes,

Hi Alan and welcome, as far as 'Daytime' running lights is concerned, unless you have had after market or modifications done then only MY13 models came with them fitted.

Dealer can switch it to "Scandinavian" mode, I believe. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

You should be able to link the iphone via the 3.5 Jack plug in the Centre Console by your left elbow, then by switching the radio via Mode to aux iirc.
There is a setting iirc in the radio to turn up the volume of the Auxi, perhaps it is set to low, there is a setting in the Menu section of the radio.

Yes , remember reading about this on the forum back along, dealer option to use the dipped headlights as in a daytime mode.
