I think they physically fit but the underlying pattern of the lights doesn't work with the shapes of the guard and may look odd.

Also I understand that the drilling to fit the Rear Lights means you would have to drill though a PCB.

Have just had a read up on that, strange that LRCS never responded to the thread?

Strange indeed! Whoever in Technical gave Mike the incorrect information to impart either a) didn't understand the question properly, or b) (and more likely the case) couldn't be arsed to research it properly.

It could have been a very expensive mistake!! Whistle Foraging near Gaydon....

Hi Taz

I got them from powerful ltd which was 19 set royal mail recorded. They dont have them on the freelander 2 page though you have to go into the disco 3 lights page and they are on there, either come in blue or cool white. Super easy to fit took all of 30 seconds each but makes for a much better light out put Thumbs Up Will try and get a picture but it might be hard to get it to look right

Personally I'm not really into lighting mods.
Only lighting mod I'll be trying to achieve is by having far brighter front sidelight bulbs (and maybe wired to ignition).
Anyone got/done a sidelight upgrade?
On my last vehicle the upgrade was Polargs, but not had the chance to suss out yet for the FL2 .......
...... been a bit busy with some other mods. Whistle FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Todays efforts

Fitted roof rail system & crossbars [the 'Dakine' pads are for carrying my kayak]

from front

from rear

black bonnet lettering
Spaced the letters out to the width of the spars, the idea to give the front a broader look

MY14 spec Silver fog bezels

chrome grill surround
just to bring it up to MY14 looks

trimmed tow cover edge with alu

new look front end

FL2 sticker
the most important job of all

alu trimmed rear undertray pre- sections

Think that's enough for one day Rolling Eyes FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

I tried fitting my Freel2 sticker today, it simply refused to come away from the backing correctly, I gave up in the end, screwed it up and threw it into the garage Laughing

Had the day off yesterday. Rolling Eyes
I had to give Mrs ronp a day out, so took her for a drive up the North York Moors - 2 birds, 1 stone. Laughing

So today
Side protection tubes fitted.
[just need to make some final checks/adjustments to ensure the jack locates ok in the rails without fouling the tubes - couldn't be bothered today as it started raining & I'd need to empty boot for access to jack!!]

So Frank [Frankenstein aka 'the Monster'] has now taken the form on how I want him to look.
More mods still to come, but the majority have now been done.
So that's just one week of ownership since getting the FL2 last week and in that time I've taken it from this:-

to this:-

Ok, I realise this won't be to everyones taste, but that's the thing about Land Rovers - you do them to suit YOU, your personality and your lifestyle........ not what anyone else says you should do. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-
