Remove amber from headlights?

I searched the forum and couldn't find a thread on removing the amber from an LR2 headlight. Can this be done or should I purchase new headlights?

Also, has anyone installed new 2013/2014 headlights with the LEDs in an 2008 to a 2010 model?

Where you are from, AFAIK, it's compulsory to have amber in the headlights, as well, as Amber indicators.
And yes, one or two have made the migration to MY2013 headlights, but it wasn't easy, and looms/connectors have to be made up. Foraging near Gaydon....

I would still have the amber/orange light blubs with a chrome finish. I only want to remove the corner upside down L from the headlight. I have seen models in the US without that amber piece and havent found a thread on how to remove this.

If you search the Disco 3 forum for de-tango headlights, there is lots of info on removing the amber strip from the D3 lights, not saying this could be done on the FL2 and if it can you would be in danger of making a real dogs dinner of the lights as the procedure requires the use of a heat gun or placing the lights in the oven to soften the adhesive in order to separate the lights.
Some guys have made some very expensive mistakes. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak.

Stop global winging.

In that case, i might just leave the headlamps alone and change the side repeaters.
