People were speculating why no one had signed up, hence my reply. It's as good as any other suggestions and meant reasonably light heatedly, although it hit a nerve with you and then you go off on one accusing me of being someone else and explaining why people gossip? I've been on here since 2012, I haven't a clue what your on about, but I am not going into a Punch and Judy dialogue over it, move on, I am sure I will. Last word!

seems ok. last night in the thunderstorm it turned into a big dog bark amplifying chamber. if weathers not terrible we can fling the whole front end open and let the echos out. At work

We live in a small 3 bed semi with a through dining room and lounge so we had a mono- pitch conservatory built across the existing patio doors, approx. 3.5 metres wide by 2.5 deep.to create more space.

All well and good until the novelty wears off, as although it is double glazed and has a triple chamber upvc roof with a blue tinge which to helps keep it cool in the summer we have found that.
1-It is to hot in the summer even on days like to day when my outside thermometer is reading only 17 degrees C.
2-It is to cold in the winter even although we have a small double panel radiator off the CH system the heat goes the opposite way.

Remedy- We are pricing up a new lightweight insulated roofing system which looks like a conventional ceiling inside and has a lightweight plastic slate tile finish externally.

Will post some before and after pics if project goes ahead.

Maybe your problem is the roof material, my dad has similar on his conservatory as 10 years ago it was better than glass roofing.
glass has improved considerably since and is now more suitable than the pvc box profile stuff.reflecting a lot of the heat away

we are still expecting the too hot in summer problem hence the big bi fold doors, in winter Im not too fussed either the sun light can heat the space or we will retire to the warmth of the woodburners in the main house.

my main problem here has always been the wind even on bright warm days its often too cold to sit outside, or if you can your newspaper etc blows away At work

Added a Conservatory eight years ago, should have gone for the glass roof, in heavy rain it's like being inside a drum, biggest regret, having a tiled floor and not having underfloor heating.
