Quick update,

Got the car back from LR today and they had removed the fuel tank and made wiring modifications as per LR bulletin. Hopefully that should fix it and all covered under the extended warranty. No mention of software update.

Mine has been fine since I've had the wiring done. Mine cost 400 for update and wiring at the Indy I use. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
Gone MY2010 Freelander 2 Manual TD4.e S, Alaska White.

Thank feck I had my warranty then! That would have been painful after 2 months of ownership.
