2014 Bluetooth Integration

Currently driving a 14 plate XS as a courtesy car while my 60 reg GS is in getting looked at. This one has the touch screen audio setup and I have to say, the bluetooth integration is the best I've come across. Full bluetooth audio control which is something I didn't think existed in any car. Lots of cars have the ability to stream audio over bluetooth but the fact that this displayed track name etc was for me a surprise.

So for anyone wondering if it's any good, I'd say yes.

Gonna be sad when mine is fixed....

England 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Orkney Grey

A few months back I was looking to buy a GS, to keep the cost down. I was eventually talked into a XS by Taunton Landrover and I'm so glad I was. The entertainment system makes such a difference, no need to have an iphone stuck to the dash for music / navigation & phone.

I agree, a great system

The only downside to streaming Audio over BT is that the Track name/etc is only displayed on the main infotainment screen, and not in the centre cluster. With a cable connection on an iPod/iPhone, it shows the details on both screens. Also, you will find that you cannot FF/RR via the Steering Wheel controls, as it automatically jumps to the next track the moment you press the button, whether or not you keep it pressed down.

But overall, a huge improvement over the pre-MY2013 units. Foraging near Gaydon....
