Parking Sensor Wiring Looms - Part Number Req'd

Hi all,

Still battling with (seemingly) the rear parking sensors on my car.

Error code keeps complaining of a failed off-side outer rear sensor. This has been replaced (twice) with genuine brand new LR parts, but with no effect.

I have run continuity tests (as best I could) on all the wiring from the PDC module in the boot to all rear sensors, and everything seems to check out OK.

I have even replaced the PDC module with one from a breakers yard.

Still the same fault.

I am wondering, therefore, if there is some weird issue buried in the loom?

As such, does anyone know the part number(s) for the loom that runs across the back of the bumper that plugs into all the sensors, and also the part number(s) for the loom that runs from the PDC in the boot to the multiplug behind the o/s rear wheel arch (that then connects to the loom that runs the length of the bumper)?

According to http://lrparts.ru/engl/ Microcat diagram (available on here) the rear bumper loom to the sensors is LR001799. Cannot see the intermediate one. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Good spot. Would have taken me ages to find that!!

From what I can tell, the other half of the loom (inside the boot) seems to form part of the overall main wiring loom for the car - and so is not replaceable as a discreet part.

Local LR dealer has the bumper loom in stock for £31.15 inc. VAT, so for that kind of money it's worth a roll of the dice.

Many thanks for your help!!

If you are still looking I have a complete rear parking sensor loom with sensors for sale.
After my wife managed to back into a metal gate post (don't ask) I sourced a secondhand replacement bumper that came complete with loom and sensors.
I salvaged the original - they are from a 2007 SD4 Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?
