Mist washer Jets

Hi all has anyone ever changed the standard washer jets to the mist type ones?
The only reason i ask is i understand that the jets are heated on the Freelander 2 and i would like to do this modification and help would be great

I looked into it at one point but couldn't find any jets to fit?

Not all modals have heated jets, I added a heatshot to mine which heats the water, works great but would be much better with fan / mist jets than squity ones that it has currently.

I'm just curious as to how a fine mist spray could possibly displace road salt and grime from a headlamp lens in Winter? Foraging near Gaydon....

Assuming me and Craigius are on the same wavelength, only looking to replace the bonnet jets, headlamp washers will stay as they are. The advantage to the mist jets is the spread of water is even across the whole screen so the wipers clean rather than push the water about.

My Golf has mist windscreen washer jets. They work very well. I'll have to have a look to see if they are the same fitting as my FL.

I used to have a corsa vxr that I changed the jets on.

For 」8 bought a set of insignia mist jets.
Cleared the screen much better and used a lot less water.

Not really an issue with the freely but the corsa wash bottle was only 1.5ltr so emptied really quickly!

Possibly mist jets on other landys that would fit?
