LR2 MY14 question on USB limitations

I have my deal working with Land Rover to try to get me a straight answer. I have a USB thumb drive that has ~80GB of music on it, 550 'group folders' and over a 1,000 'album' folders with a total of ~10,000 music files (m4a). It places great in my VW Sportwagen - not so in the LR2. It does not display the 'group' folders in the correct order. And at least half of the album folders give the error: No playable media' message. So obviously the software in the LR2 has limitations - I am just trying to find out exactly what those are so I can work around them.

The sorting issue can be solved with a tool like fatsorter.
But I didn't find out the cause why some files are not playable. Tried different sticks, different OS to write - same result. But its not always the same files. Looks like the LR just has a problem above a certain size of usb's. Mine is a 32GB. MY2013, 2.2 TD4 SE fuji white
