Picked up my new MY14 and first trip up the M4 it whistled from the drivers front window/mirror area. The seal attached to the roofline frame that the door closes on to didn't look fitted correctly and I thought that's the problem. Dealer couldn't stick it down but had to replace the whole seal. Problem still there but this week with the hot weather and aircon on the whistle was there even when stopped. Seems the inner glass seal is short at both ends where it should go past the vertical window seals allowing air to escape out of the car and cause the whistle. Booked in for next week. MY14 TD4 manual XS Orkney grey.

I had an o/s whistle, turned out to be the door mirror internal seal/gasket. Might be worth a try |

I get quite a whistle when the aircon is on and my wife partially shuts her vents. |
