Going to have to say goodbye from Sept 1

Big spend today!!!!!!!

Sue and I took her car (Kia) in for MOT and service then went and had a
look at the new Nissan X-trail Released today.
So impressed we bought one! yes a new new very very new car..
We both decided we do not have any need to run two cars with two lots
of road tax- insurance etc etc, so doing a part exchange on both cars
for a new Nissan Xtrail. As it is so close to September we decided
that it is better to have a new plate than an old one, got to be
worth a bit more down the line. Ok I am keeping my B3 DOG plate and
having it transferred FOC. Also car mats and fuel for free.
The local Nissan dealership made such a good offer we could not
refuse, several thousand pounds more than we expected.

It is the manual Nissan X-TRAIL TEKNA 4 wheel drive with 7 seats in silver

my 4 yr old Freelander only has 23,000 miles on the clock and just fitted a new battery. I was thinking of advertising it on here but selling to a dealer means no comeback on me not that their should be.

If anyone is interested in it They need to speak to David Stevens at Yeomans|Nissan on 01323 512855.(eastbourne)
it also has new full size spare tyre and Garman sat nav dealer fitted and full service history MOT etc etc.
I am the second owner if interested and the actual millage at the moment is 23241 and has a towbar with single socket for my 8x4 trailer.

As we are both retired and on pension we have to consider for the long term car running costs and we can't see any real need to run two cars any more Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner

Thank you, WE decided to wait until september as the earliest delivery would have been mid August anyway so for waiting only 2 weeks we do get the new reg worth around at least £500 more than an old one if the time comes to sell it in the future.

Still be here until then and will pop in time to time to keep in touch if I may, only its such a friendly site

Had a look online at them as I didn't know a new model was been released, bit hard to tell with the computer generated pictures but as with anything non-LR the fuel economy was loads higher on the Teckno 4wd version I looked in too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Just roughly worked out some costs of having 2 cars against this one. OK we have had to put some of our own money down to make up the shortfall on the cost of the new car ,but working it out at a rough guess it is going to cost us between £1000 and £1200 less each year let alone fuel saving Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner
