good question, cheap fl2 sort of appeals but it is becoming a little dated, despite being more modern than my RRS

Yep, Clarkson, as ever, is readable and gave the PHEV its due attention by limiting specific review content to the last sentence where he, rightly, calls it out as pretty sh*t. ...

The question is do you want to buy the last of the FL2 - fully sorted, all the kit and depreciation similar to a LADA.

I'm going to wait see what the new Defender has to offer. Did have a look at one before buying my Freelander, but had my doubts over reliability, security, safety, performance .... |

I would never want to be one of the first to run a new model which is why I went down the FL2 route.

I fancy getting a new Sport. I was disappointed to read this week that there are a shortage of the new LR engines which means the new Sport will have a FL2 engine in it for the first year or so. The new LR engines are being given priority to the new Jag model. Once the new Sport comes with the new engine then I will consider buying a Sport. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

if the Disco Sport doesn't have the hotfire engine in it, i'll be waiting for it to do so before i buy one, especially if that is supposed to be more economical

I decided a while ago to wait for a real new model before replacing my excellent 7yr old FL2 SE Auto. Should the Auto-Express story about engines be true I will certainly wait a little longer.

With emerging details of the new Disco Sport as FL2 replacement (new styling, 5+2 seating, 'modest' ground clearance evident etc etc) have people changed their mind? I will obv wait to see / drive a real one, but I'm hoping that it will still be the right car for me in a year or two...
