Intercooler damage?

We recently ran into a small deer in our 11 reg FL2. Not too much damage although we will be replacing the front bumper at some point if we can find one to match on ebay. The issue really is that the intercooler got dented, see the image below (and note the deer hairs in the grill). As far as I can tell I can't hear any air leaking out and there is no sign of any oil around the intercooler. The car seems to drive as normal. Should I just live with this or would I be advised to replace it as it could be restricting air flow?

Looks like the air flow through to the engine is OK, so you are not starving the engine of air.
The crossflow that provides the cooling is looking poor, so the air entering the engine will be hotter than otherwise - but if you are in the UK the ambient will rarely be above 20C, compared to Spain where it will be twice that, so it's all relative.

Save up and change it when the bumper is off - it's an easy job once the bumper is removed. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

The intercooler is split, so it will need replacing. You shouldn't see any oil as it is an air to air radiator. But if the main core is damaged, it will only be a matter of time before you see running issues. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather.
