In rented at the moment while we look for a house. This will be our last one so it has to be right. Want a doer upper so we can put our mark on it, and extend etc. We were going to buy new, but you're limited to what you can do, so looking for an older house. Had just finished working on our last one when we sold it, including a 15k kitchen refurb. Renting is pants.

getting settled in somewhat, few thing need doing such as new boiler and bit and pieces- 7/8 locks/latches now sorted -new carpet in one room on order as is seating for the conservatory. Rose creeper covering part of upstairs windows cut back. Load of rubbish taken to tip which they should have done- Had 4 aerials removed from roof( don,t even ask) and had a super dooper one replaced instead feeding 6 points in the house.

In truth loads of silly bits and pieces to do or done such as replacing shaver/light units in the onsuite and main bathroom- easing windows that open so one can clean both sides, never been opened I don't think- oven absolutely filthy needs professional cleaners in to sort don't think it has ever been cleaned. Apart from painting and decorating to our taste oh and the bathroom needs ripping out and new fitted (in hand),its a horrible grey/green colour.
So enough work to k'eep wife and I occupied for a couple of months and no chance of going to the beach 1.5 miles away at the moment. Still loads of packing boxes to open and sort as well. Thats about it for the moment Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner
