I grew up in Snaith not far from Selby, your right its lovely and flat, bit of a difference to Halifax!! Youll find you wont notice the power stations after a while!! Back on topic ! lol. Me and the wife bought an old persons bungalow about 5 years ago. He had an architect design it for him so its one of a kind. We added a large extension and a loft conversion afew years ago, Realspeed is right, theres nothing like being in your own home. Hard work does have its rewards! In rented at the moment while we look for a house. This will be our last one so it has to be right. Want a doer upper so we can put our mark on it, and extend etc. We were going to buy new, but you're limited to what you can do, so looking for an older house. Had just finished working on our last one when we sold it, including a 15k kitchen refurb. Renting is pants. |

getting settled in somewhat, few thing need doing such as new boiler and bit and pieces- 7/8 locks/latches now sorted -new carpet in one room on order as is seating for the conservatory. Rose creeper covering part of upstairs windows cut back. Load of rubbish taken to tip which they should have done- Had 4 aerials removed from roof( don,t even ask) and had a super dooper one replaced instead feeding 6 points in the house.
