warranty wise views

hi everyone now my 57 is coming up to 48000 miles and running well,l am getting a bit concerned about the haldex and diff bearing issues that crop up on site often. I an thinking of now joining( warranty wise)
for peace of mind if anything major happens in the future.
Has anyone dealt with them or had bad issues with them.

I would try warranty direct over warrantywise.
When I got my warranty, warrantywise were quoting over twice the amount than warranty direct and the cover was not even at the same level. Warranty direct covers you up to the value of the car for repairs whereas you have to select a cover level with warranty wise and you have a whole host of options that bump the price up.

I have already had a warranty claim with warranty direct and it was paid straight away with no problems. The only thing you have to be concious with warranty direct is that if you pick the franchised dealer repair option, you then have to get it serviced from that point with a franchised dealer.

Hi Zuegma thanks for the only reply looking at different forums about warranty s , they all seem to be bad in the fact they try to get out of paying up
spoke to my Indy dealer who said don't go near them they always try to wriggle out of a claim 57 reg GS leather seats panoramic sun roof

From what I've noticed over on Disco3, if you have Warranty Direct, you have an excess to pay for each fault, so if both front wheel bearings fail, that is classed as two claims, two excesses.

Only dealing with Warranty Wise was fine, complete Electric Mirror on a Mini, £180, at first they wriggled a bit saying it is not a moving part so not covered, after explaining it is a moving part, it folds in electrically, they relented, we paid the bill with the garage, Warranty Wise paid us in full in forty eight hours.
