I've jut bought a 2011 XS model which has electric seats, though not with the memory option. Are my mirrors supposed to tilt when reversing, or does this only happen with full memory electric seats? I can not seem to get them to keep their tilted position.

I've only had the car 3 days and the wife reversed into a small wall causing £850 worth of damage. I'm an unhappy bunny at the moment.

Dipping mirrors only come with the memory seats. They'd be useful for spotting the lines of parking bays, but I'd have thought the parking sensors would have noticed a wall, however small...

The wife ignored the parking sensors bleeping it seems.

But you answered my question, I do not have the auto tilting mirrors as I do not have the memory seats.
