United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Orkney Grey

I lost interest when he compared it to a Qashqai....

You know, one of those oriental things that wants to be a Freelander, but isn't. Yawn. Td4 XS manual, Orkney Grey, MY2014

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Baltic Blue

I wonder who or what Mark Tisshaw actually is? An acclaimed, well known Motoring hack perhaps?

If he is the spoken authority in Motor Trade reviews, then god help us all!

"The spec of the Metropolis builds on that of the previous HSE Lux flagship"

How? What technology, or styling modifications, aside from a rear metal 'Metropolis' badge does it have over and above the HSE Lux? IIRC, it is only going to be called 'Metropolis' in the UK & Russia......everywhere else it will remain HSE Luxury. You can tell that this 'journo' has not put an ounce of research into this piece. Particularly as it is now some 」5k cheaper than an HSE Lux was in March of this year! Poor effort at reviewing/reporting.... D- SEE ME!

ps: What's the betting he drives an Audi? Foraging near Gaydon....

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Bali Blue

Autoexpress squeezed in a one page review in last weeks issue. They praised it for being a top spec model with all the goodies at a price 」4K cheaper than before - but they slammed the engine, outdated and poor economy. Surprisingly they didnt mention the dated satnav - whenever AE review any Landrover or Jaguar (they all have the same system) they slam it for having poor graphics and slow.

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Orkney Grey

Took my XS SD4 in for its first service today and got a Metropolis as a loan car, 22 miles on the clock, just PDI'd. I assume it's an SD4 as I think the TD4 is now only available as a manual. Nothing very different to mine to make me wish I had it. The colour isn't to my taste though!

The colour is "Zanzibar" according to the label on the key. More like roast chicken if you ask me.

The 19" Continentals were just as noisey as my 17" Goodyears which surprised me. GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver

Zanzibar Bronze....very rare colour on a FL. Seen it on a Disco 4 and an Evoque up at Halewood, but never on a FL before. We have a member in Brazil who has one....not ever been available over here before (despite being made in the UK!) Foraging near Gaydon....

I think it looks smart, not sure that if I had that colour that I might regret it in a years time though.

United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Santorini Black

I must admit I like the Zanzibar, works better if you have gloss black trim/accents with it. Only ever seen it on Evoque with the black bits & I think it looks very smart but can see it could be a problem when selling.

The one I saw (autocar not working presently) is at Baretts in Canterbury. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.
