Replacement cutter and foil for Braun shaver

I bought a Braun 390cc-4 last June that comes with the charging/cleaning station. I just wondered if any of you guys had a similar shaver and how often you replaced the foil and cutter. The indicator light for the foil lit up the other day but it's gone off now.

Press and hold the button for a few seconds and it resets the foil counter, I usually change the foil head once a year ! Not every time the light comes on. Jaguar x-type sport gone

I have a 790cc and a 340s and they are both very different.

The Series 7 has a recessed button that you push and hold with a pin or similar, as described above. The 340s doesn't have a counter. Both cassette's are changed approximately every 18 months....they (Braun) recommend 12 Month intervals, but I get a good 50% longer than that, possibly because I flit between the two depending on whether I am home or away. Foraging near Gaydon....

Try wet shaving with a double edge razor Thumbs Up .
You can't get better. 11 quid for 100 blades, 3 shaves per blade. No brainer
The closest and most hygienic way to shave.
Takes a bit longer I admit, but 6 hours after a D/E wet shave and skin still feels silky smooth.
Proper mans shave Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
