Mine used to do that if you rushed in, inserted the Fob and quickly presses Start, put it down to not giving it time to "boot Up" did it at a leisurely pace and never did it. |

Mine was an HSE, also lost the voice on the Sat Nav. |

Mmmm interesting back at you as the fix was a strap straight to the starter motor....

CCsnet first thing this morning i went to look at my car, and it has 2 cables from the negative terminal.. one going directly to the starter motor !

took my car for a B service this morning ( BTW € 395 and 89 000 Km).

i had already a 35mm cable (0,7 meters long) join from battery to starter bolt.
