Freelander 2 Re-Map

Has anybody had recent expereince on ECU re-mapping . My vechical is a Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual on A 07 plate . I have seen numerous adverts claiming X ,Y , and Z are they true . My favoured people are Angle tunning at Branbury as they have given me the best patter and at 」280.00 good price . Feed back please .

never heard of Angle before

but those who have done this sort of thing seem to rate either B.A.S (site/sister site sponsor) or Blufin, both have the ability to be put on and removed when required, such as visits to a dealer for warranty.

I think that you mean Angel Tuning in Banbury, just down the road from me. I don't have any personal experience of them, but a guy in the village had his Defender remapped there and has no complaints about them. Foraging near Gaydon....

Been running a Bluefin on mine for the last 3 months.

Definitely smoother and more responsive. Steve

Alive tuning on mine,Gary is one of the best in the country at what he does and his service is second to none.He did my old D2 and that flew so had no problems going to there with my FL2,he also did a full ecu update direct from land rover on mine before he mapped it .

remember if you have a vehicle remapped you should inform your insurance company as it is no longer standard as per factory settings Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner

Thks for the many replies , Blufin seems to appear is this forum a lot , and I have never read a negative so that seems to be the way forward , and yes I did mean Angel tunning . I will give my local Blufin chip people a call tomorrow.

I ran my old TD4 FL2 for 6 years with bluefin and it was perfect. No need to find a local dealer, buy direct off the Superchips website and they will ship it to you with instructions on what to do. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather.
