An electric pole blew down halfway through top gear so I missed a lot of it power just back on now. I guess its repeated mid week?

Yes I saw that as well, it occured to me that as well as the Prius and the M3 running round the track they could have had a FL2 and the way the other two were crawling round I wouldn't have been surprised if the the FL2 would have been even more economical.

Did you guys miss the fact that at the start of the Prius vs M3 report. Clarkson mentioned that a review shows that in the long term the Land Rover Discovery is better for the environment that the Prius?

I don't agree with the fuss about CO2, can't belive that cars/factories etc producing CO2 are the ones causing the damage, and that the reduction in rain forests etc. aren't having an effect. But there we go, I won't start, because I only have 1 hour for lunch, and not enough time to get it all off my chest.

I've never understood how they calculate CO2 in tonnes? more C02 seems to come out of cars than fuel goes in.
