Doors etc don't lock

When I came home from work last night, I parked by my house and locked the car as usual. I spoke to my next door neighbour, and for some reason, although the mirrors were folded, and I heard the doors lock. I pulled on the drivers door handle, and the car opened, starting the alarm. I was quite surprised, as this means that although everything looks locked, it clearly is'nt. I did'nt try it again, as the local yobs were walking down the street, but have just tried it again, and the same thing has happened.
I've been having trouble with the key fob in the past, and have had to buy a new battery for the spare as it's flat. I have'nt fitted the battery yet though.
Has anyone experienced this problem?

Steve.

Thanks. I've just tried it for the third time, and this time it locked. I will keep an eye on it in future, and not rely on the fact that, if the mirrors have folded, the door is locked. Thumbs Up

My 2007 hse has the same problem. Try pushing the lock button on the remote 2 or 3 times and if its like mine, it does lock.
