Tyre Size..Yes or No

I currently have 235 55 19 on my Freelander 2. I have seen some 235 65 19 Pirelli Scorpions All Seasons for sale with 8mm of tread on. Will i be able to fit with the extra 10mm without any problems?

Thanks in advance
Mac

No expert but 10 mm seems a lot to me.

They are 47mm taller and 6.34% difference in diameter only reckon on +/-2.5% difference according to a tyre size calculator I just checked so I would say no.

The ’65’ is the aspect ratio so the extra 10 is 10% of 235. So, 23.5 mm taller sidewall. Don't think it will look quite right. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

Thats a good link Paul.

Thanks for the replies guys. Having looked a bit more i think that it would not look quite right. Will stick to the 55's and have another look around for a good price.

Thank You.

Already been answered above. http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator

'Standard' 18" are 235 60 18. Play around with 19" wheels changing the width and profile to get within the 2.5% recommended difference. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.
