Guy Salmon - Maidstone

I had to buy the glass for the near side door mirror today (Mrs DD having had a close encounter with a bush on a country lane)( Censored White van man coming the other way)
I called Guy Salmon in Maidstone, Kent yesterday, who had the part (£30.56 incl vat Big Cry ) and held it for me to collect.
They sent one of the mechanics out to the car park to fit it, as the parts guy said there was a bit of a knack to it.
Ok it took him less than 3 minutes to fit, whilst I moved the electric adjustment up and down. But there was no mention of a charge - Apart from the £5 tip I gave the mechanic.

10/10 to them - They have just earned my first service Thumbs Up Thumbs Up FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

Blimey, this is the dealer that I did NOT buy my beloved from because just getting served appeared to be a challenge.

PS Dougden, try comparing service costs with Barretts at Canterbury. You may find a 30 mile trip east to your advantage!!!

Come on CG, us softie southerners have to have all the money down here, because you have all the other good things in life - Those funny large Yorkshire puddings, it is so quaint the way you put all the stuff inside the pud itself, where we have to put our vegetables in individual serving dishes. And those lovely flat hats to protect you from the the sunshine you get on the 28th of August every other year. By the way, are your daffodils out yet? Mr. Green

Cheers John L - Will gve them a call next time Mrs DD goes bushwacking!! FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

i didn't expect you to like it, but don't knock what you haven't tried Very Happy

The trick is to get good natural beef gravy from your roast joint and just a sprinkle of sugur

Its a family thing, my dad does it, his dad does it, and his dad did it too.

The looks you get when you ask for sugar in restaurant is great Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
