Thoughts please, In my past D3 & RRS I had a 12v 40A trailer socket outlet in the boot tapping off the main (purple) wire on the tow bar aux socket.
This is to power an inflator pump for a Zodiac dinghy (you have here a yachting freak you see - it blows up in 90 seconds versus 10 minutes hard graft with a foot pump) which draws 28 amps plus.

Is there a similar wiring capability on the FR 2 does anyone know ? Note this power should ideally be independent of ignition switch settings etc. so it can be used anytime.

The alternative is crocodile clips onto the battery, which really is not the job at all.

Just realised - FR2 wiring socket is always external hence easy to sort out - D3 & RRS sockets of course are hidden under a flap which is a pain to remove every time...
So just need a wiring diagram

There's a 40amp fuse FA11 in the boot fuse box labelled trailer supply, I assume that's to the grey socket? Anyone know what pins it supplies .

Thanks - good info - looking at the 13 pin outlet on the wiring diagram it seems the battery outlet pin is linked to a 15A fuse - the 40A fuse links into a dreaded ECU module which has no 40A outlet.

Bit reluctant to tap into anything related to an ECU and 15A ain't enough so plan 'B' might be to have a small motorcycle battery as the power source & just lug that in with the Zodiac.
