It could be done to the earlier models, but as of yet no knowledge of anyone doing it to a MY13 Model.

Good guide in modifications section.

As a general comment, there seems to be very little tech stuff on the forum now and the posts are defo on the decline.

Maybe it's all been done now? Plus the latest models seem to have less to modify, or are just so complex that modification is more difficult. eg - there's no longer a place to fit a new satnav; the towbar is plug-and-play, etc. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Fair point. Thumbs Up taking it to its logical conclusion, is the site in danger of becoming a reference only site?

Some of the threads seem to make little sense, individual posts have been deleted so can be difficult to follow Sad

Particularly the case where photos have disappeared. Some posters have left the site and taken their photos with them. I don't think it will become reference only because
a) as the cars get older there will be more people doing their own repairs and asking questions, so it will get more like, eg, Landyzone;
b) the social side and banter may become more dominant - not necessarily a bad thing.
More to the point, what happens when the Freelander ceases to be?!? Big Cry Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
