It is factually incorrect, Sheerness is not a storage point though, it's a Port, cars come in by boat, unloaded whilst waiting for Car Transporters for onward distribution, the amount parked will remain about the same but the stock rotates. There is another one just south of Avonmouth.

The car park at the now closed Daw Mill Colliery near Coventry is due to be rented out to Jaguar/Land Rover to store cars in the near future.

I remember when I was a young lad growing up near Goole there was a large area of the docks used for storage of vans and cars, I remember seeing them driven off the ships into the docks. Also the former Dixons motor group had a massive storage/distribution depot near Thorne. Quite a lot of cars but nothing like some of the pictures shown on the link! Just read the full article, guys on here and the D3/4 forum complain about lead times on new orders but at least they are getting a factory fresh product. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.
