I have used FF all of my service parts and broken tail light assemblies and found them very helpful and competitive pricing .Even with the outrages freight prices compared to the US most oem and genuine parts work out between 40-50% cheaper than I can buy then locally here in Aus

Had the service done new brake pads all round and front discs fitted. Good price, excellent service and advice. The car drives much better and improved economy. A good set of guys and LR enthusiasts. Holy thread resurrection Batman...

Away in the caravan on the last stop (very near Louth) of our 5 weeks summer East Anglia Coast tour and the car is now intermittently going into restricted performance mode - usually after a hot engine restart but sometimes mid drive. My iCarSoft device tells me the only error code is P0405-77 which points to an EGR problem.

Took the car into Famous Four where we explained 1.6t caravan and 100 miles home on Friday with intermittent Restricted Peformance might be a little embarrasing - they took the car, did their own diagnostics and booked the car in for same day repair tomorrow morning. Nice helpful people with while you wait coffee and bowl of water for Fido...

Hopefully all will be well again tomorrow with my 55k miles Nov 2013 Lux auto that to date, has needed nothing more than a wheel bearing, Haldex service and normal consumables (cam belt, tyres, wiper blades & servicing etc).

All done - it's like driving a completely different car. Can't fault the service from FF - they even picked us up from Louth town centre when the car was ready.
