United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Baltic Blue
Discovery Concept at Royal Windsor Horse Show

As per title, spent a bit of time with the LR Hospitality Team yesterday at Windsor, so thought that I would share some images....the Disco Concept was getting some mixed comments from the Horsey types....be interesting to see what makes production and what doesn't.

Anyway, the Burgers were top draw, and having had a whizz round in a Disco 4 on a mini experience, have decided that I want to look into this car a bit further as it better suits my height. At least that's what I told Mrs.Badger!! Rolling with laughter I saw a beautiful Aintree Green metallic SDV6 which started to make my mind tick....

Enjoy.....

Mrs Badger having a glass of Fizz...very civilised!

Executive Parking....

And posing with a Defender 90

Here it is....

Oh, and some Show jumping a la Nick Skelton ....

All in all, a great sunny and warm day out, capped by Arsenal (finally) winning the FA Cup....big thanks to Mike at LR for the tickets. Foraging near Gaydon....

Great photos. How big is it compared to the FL2? I will probably be looking at changing cars in a year or two. It looks a bit blingy for my taste but the one thing I hated about the FL2 was you could only buy a 2.2 diesel. I know I am probably in the minority but I hate diesels-rumour is the replacement will have a sensible petrol option rather than the lump they put in the early FL2.

Be careful, take it from someone who's got the T Shirt, the mind ticking can be a costly experience Thumbs Up

That rear end doesn't look very "sporty"; more "bulbous" out of any one of those Korean auto styling houses. And, that fake chrome insert on the steering wheel rim - to put it mildly it is very tacky. As is all that fake chrome finishes on the head rests.

And as for NYC fashion gurus and their "Discovery" bonnet - a hard purposeful Land Rover statement fits all occasions admirably.

On current showing her Ladyship certainly cannot have one. Remodel LR before it's too late - keep the 90ー opening rear doors and the increased load space - function before fashion.

I'm afraid to me that new Discosport thing has had one heck of a bum botox - what a hideous harse.

That rear end reminds me of the P38 Range Rover.

Could be interesting, some people cannot talk without gesturing.

Even the turn signal indicator and headlamp controls are activated through gestures, removing the need for physical stalks and leading to a cleaner steering system for the driver.
