2011 Freelander2 front bumper removal

Any hints or tips please........

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good video to show removal and refitting please.

Thanks

Title Edited because it is a 2010 car but I now understand it is a 2011 onward front bumper!
Cheers

Use the search facility. There's a step by step guide on here somewhere. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

I tried, can only find older bumper version, perhaps I just missed it, hence my request for help.

The link I gave you points to another link (MY11 upgrade) that gives a step by step on removing a pre MY11 and you said you have a 2010 model. Confused
Just ignore the upgrade part.

Ok something strange here perhaps, I really don't know, my motor is 10/10 registered but from what you are saying it seems to have the 2011 front bumper.

Basically a bumper, not including the grill, at least I don't think the grill comes off with it.(Probably wrong)

I believe this is still the latest bumper offering.

Cheers!

OK, you have a 10/10 registered but it is a MY11 upgrade model, you threw us by stating 2010.

Smile Welcome anyway and hope you enjoy it, we usually talk model year to stop any confusion between the changes.

As for your question it will be better for someone who has actually fitted a MY11 bumper to answer, or PM Mav71 who has done everything possible to his previous FL2

Go to http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic15916.html. It says the fitting of the new bumper is just a reversal of the removal steps for the old bumper. Implies that removing the new bumper must be pretty much the same.
Failing that, you can download the instructions from the TOPIx web site (you have to pay for access).
Enter the car (with correct MY!) in your personal details and it will appear on the left of your posts (wave mouse over the Landrover to the left of this to see what I mean). Then we can help more easily with future queries.
TOPIx will also give you (free, but you must register) complete build details and dates for your car. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease

Laughing I know we're posting at the same time, I'll leave it to someone who's actually done it now.

This where the confusion came in 'Athelstan', that video is for a pre MY11 and he wants to remove a post MY11 bumper and I'm not sure if the procedure differs at all.
