I would not have bothered with the dog guard as dogs can still mess up windows looking out, We use a dog crate instead which avoids all that internal window cleaning Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner

I've been using a dog crate since I got my FL2 last October, but hated the way that it filled the boot and stopped me from utilising the space. I picked up a secondhand genuine dog guard for £50 and now I have the boot back again. I have a Jack Russell who would jump over the rear seats in a flash, but sits perfectly still if he thinks that he can't get anywhere Laughing

By the way, nice looking FL2 monkiefone. It's pretty much identical to mine and agree with you about the sidesteps.

Some great comments there. I have a springer spaniel who would climb half up over the rear seats and mark the leather headrests.

In my previous D2 I had a full complement of mantec window guards which stopped the dog marking all the windows.

I will be working with them to develop them for the fl2 along with a boot divider. John
