Dynamic Mudflaps

Hi all, finally got around to fitting my new mud flaps on the Dynamic. Supposedly an easy job - the rear ones were easy to fit but the front ones were awkward, lining screws up with holes etc, but after huffing and puffing and clearing a load of crap out from under the car and and scraped knuckles, I finally got them fitted after an hour. Also need to fit the new black LR/Freelander badges but don't know whether to wait until the weather warms up a bit or if it's OK to fit using a hairdryer. Towbar to order and get fitted and still undecided whether to have side bars or steps or not to bother. Still umming and ahhing.

Thanks.

Gazza

I fitted my black badges this week and used a hair dryer so far so good.I thought about side steps but changed ny mind I think they will be a waste of money,I had them on my D2 when I bought it but I removed them.

Where did you get the mud flaps from??? I'm picking up my new Dynamic on Friday and will need to fit flaps as soon as possible to protect the paint.

Flea bay is a struggle and the dealer is no help.

Hiya, these are the black badges we are talking about. You can get them from flebay/dealers. The oval badges are from the link below. A few owners have them.

The mudflaps are sport ones, but seem to be rare. Took me couple of months to get some(fleabay). You can try Duckworths parts on or Craddocks?

Welcome to the forum. Gazza

Thanks for the photos Gazzerman.. I have a red Dynamic and was trying to find a photo of one with the body side moulding/protectors. Looks smart, did you fix these yourself and if so was it easy!
Regards

Found some mudflaps! Got them from LR Centre online. Part number LRFM300SP.
£35 + VAT + Post.
Just waiting for some dry weather to fit them.

Mudflaps for a Freelander Dynamic

Hi All,
Just joined the forum so bear with me please. I've just bought a 2014 dynamic and love it. The problem I have is obtaining mud flaps that are compatible with the Dynamic body kit. I have made enquiries with LR Centre and Craddocks etc. who both say their stock items aren't compatible. They look as though they will fit from the photos and description but I am hesitant to send for them and maybe have to return them.
Cheers Dave

The 'stock' ones are for standard cars and won't fit, you need a specific flap to fit the contour of the extra body panels and bumper panel on the rear.
There is a part number shown above and this site have them listed.

Many thanks taztastic. I've just ordered them from LR Centre. I phoned them yesterday but they couldn't help me. I obviously spoke to the wrong guy.
Appreciate your help
Dave

Let us know how you get on, the rears are a doddle, the fronts a little patience and perseverance is needed but well worth the effort Thumbs Up

Fitted them with not too much trouble. No intstructions with them and a bit of a jumble of fixings but they could only go on one way. Bought some trim fixing rivets and some longer 'u' fixings which helped. In the end they look good.

Liked the look of them.

Ordered mine from LR Centre.

They arrived in a day.

Have "married" them up to the body kit. They seem an excellent fit.

Just need to get around to putting them on.
