zenon headlights

are the zennon headlights plug and play in a my2013 fitted with halogen lights? Smile

No, not plug and play. You needed an Autologic or Faultmate to reprogramme for them to work.

It's 'xenon' Very Happy A good LR Indy will do them for you, about £30 - £40 plus vat. They do just plug in.

Bulbs can be Xenon filled, so they're Xenons too. The correct term is HID I believe for the wonder headlights that everyone seems to want. But we know what you mean. Thumbs Up

thanks for all your replys bit of a senior moment over spelling,my Mg ZTT V8 has sensors fitted on the suspension to feed info to the lights to account for load etc,i take it these are not needed on the freelander?

England 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

Freelanders fitted with xenon lights on build will have the self levelling system installed. Technically to be fully legal all xenon lights must be self levelling. That said, I've a feeling that all late model Freelanders have self levelling but stand ready to be corrected by those who know better.

No, you can sit back down again. That is manual levelling. Even my my07 with halogen headlights has that.

thats my understanding too, xenons auto level, halogens manual level, not sure about the new versions with the dim new style headlights with lenses
