Quite. Or Billy Bunter. Or Biggles. All racist. Apparently it's even racist to call your dog Didier Dogba (Clarkson yet again). The loonies are everywhere, and the problem is they're winning. Guess they won't be bringing back love thy neighbour. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock. It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak. Stop global winging. |

If it's a fuss about nothing, why are you holding back from saying the word?

I once posted a phrase ' no sniggering at the back please' on an Audi forum, the 'spell checker' corrected this to 'no black people at the back' At work

I remember reading a news story about a DCI who was demoted to a DI by his force after apparently making a racist comment. At a ceremony/event of some kind, someone bought him a model of a BMW car (I assume he was a Beemer fan).

This must have been some time ago because if a police officer said that today he/she would be sacked immediately. One I knew was in a patrol car and made a comment to his colleague about a group of muslim females in full Burkhas crossing the road in front of them. Something like "watch out for the ninjas". No malice or ill intent, but he lost his job. It was meant as humour, and not the brightest move but in terms of reprimand there is no room for common sense anymore because senior officers who only consider their careers these days want all police to be black and white (no pun intended) but the police operate in a grey world. |

The Sister-in-Law worked in a local council office. The manager of her department got into serious trouble for calling a Welsh bloke 'Boyo'! The Welsh bloke couldn't give a toss but some other PC (English) member of staff complained! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
