Thinking of fitting a Parrot Asteroid Tablet to my 2011 Freelander Td4 S to get handsfree and USB/iphone connectivity. The system sounds realy good and the display could fit in the dash where the sat nav goes! Has anyone fitted one? Is everything you need in the box to connect it to the standard LR system? or do you have to get adapter looms and stuff?

I've been looking at replacing the Alpine system with a Parrot Asteroid Smart, but it seems like it'd just be a massive pain to get all the harnesses, wiring, etc. done correctly.

Then, I came across a site where someone had replaced the cubby with one and left the Alpine intact. This may be of interest to you, and I'm pretty sure this is the route I'm going to take.

Oh... one problem. The site is in Russian and google's translate is... iffy.
