I found damp oil on the underside of the engine cover tray which led me to a leak at the crank pulley/timing cover. No significant loss of oil noted. No oil stains on driveway. I asked Duckworths to check it out whilst in for another job. They replaced the timing cover seal behind the crankshaft pulley. Sounds easy but dismantling entailed replacement of the cam drive belt. Paid for by LR extended warranty no quibble. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
