after researching it a while back, I use Halfords silicone rubber lubricant on door seals, etc, and am well pleased with the results.

I use Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care. Keeps the seals subtle and stops them sticking when it freezes. I also use it on the tyre sidewalls.

I have used this "Einszett Gummi Pflege Stick - Rubber Door Seal Restorer" and find it very good at restoring rubber seals that have gone a bit hard. On E.bay under Vehicle Parts and Accesseories |
