England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

Well done Simon. Nothing radical a safe bet I would say, but it looks like its going to be a whole lot more practical with that shape. Will it be coils or EAS though? So many questions Wink

mmm hard to tell. wheel travel looks promising from the photos... looks like it was turning sharply and quickly.

Also what are those spoilers in front of the front wheel ? Hope they are temporary as they will disappear off road.

Does look much more brutal / butch at the front... a good thing. Reason I bought my first Freelander (had it when they first arrived) was cause it looked so much better than anything else around at the time - still does in my opinion when comparing it with all the Jap stuff.

I guess many more are really interested but waiting for some rfeal plictures before they will start to comment on it. Unable to give a correct opinion based on these pictures, there is too much camouflage going on. will

Firstly, I'm no Photoshop expert. But I tried to take the camo off:

I don't think I quite nailed it - but for a first try, it aint bad Smile

P.S. Hi! I'm RodThePlod. I'm hoping Freelander 2 will be my next car as my five year old Zafira is due to get kicked to the kerb soon!

Welcome RodThePlod Mr. Green

Good effort with the Photoshopped pic, gives a better idea than with the disruptive patten on it Smile

Hi rodtheplod

As said by others, welcome to the forum. And as many others (including me) I hope my next one will be an FL2 as well (actually owning a Freelander MY01 Td4 Steptronic, and delighted about), if it will be better as the actual one I hope there will be no doubt to get it at all. (Hope the reliability has been worked on though, not that I have had that great nbr of problems but others seem to have had, something I noticed is that the Td4 is the best option for the actual model). Take care.

Btw: Congrats on that photoshop picture, but I wonder where they will have hidden the sparewheel ?? will

>>Btw: Congrats on that photoshop picture, but I wonder where they will have hidden the sparewheel ??<<

Seems like the spare wheel will be stored as it is on my Zafira - under the boot floor.

To show how sad I am, for the last 4 or 5 months I've had the black camoflaged FL2 image, (which used to be on the masthead of this web site), as my desktop. In fact, it acts as an inspiration for me as I'm developing a web site which will be going live within the next couple of weeks - and will hopefully be one of the ways in which I'll be funding my brand spanking new FL2 Mr. Green

If I have a couple of hours to kill over the next few days, I may attempt to de-camo the front view.

Thanks for the welcome, all.
