I just thought that with the current slide showing no signs of abating.............

Bring back Moyes! Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

I'm not going to argue that point Thumbs Up

But even Max Bygraves had better records than Moyes Laughing Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Yawn....

Complete non-story about a "manager"/glorified PE teacher who failed to teach a bunch of overpaid knuckle draggers how to kick a ball.

To be honest, I feel sorry for Moyes. The poor fellow was a hiding to nothing.
Man U have 18 wins so far this season and the best away record; under Fergie they had just 12 wins in his first season.
Goes to show just how money grabbing football has become because they failed to qualify for Europe.
I notice the media say nothing how some players on £150k-£300k a week have failed to perform.

Maybe the pay off will soften the blow a bit; maybe he's even glad he's out of it.
Humiliating all the same. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

What gets me about all this is that the bunch of overpaid glory boys on the pitch seem to carry no responsibility for the poor performance. Evil or Very Mad Cheers Ian

Some of the media have been scathing of the team, particularly the BBC. They are not without responsibility but the fact remains that under Fergie they won the league last year - easily. Under Moyes....

And yes, I know the other teams didn't play too well last year but you can only beat who's in front of you.

Leadership is so important. Look at Man City when they had their first season with 'the money' - they had great players but were abject. Liverpool have prospered under Brendan Rogers - what a find he's been. Compare how he's quietly and effectively handled Suarez to the embarrassing t-shirt stunt under Dalglish.

It's all about the boss. I admire Moyes and virtually all the media seem to like and respect him - Fergie was always going to be tough to follow but Moyes, Neville, et al were just nowhere near 'big' enough for a team like Man U. Fergie got that one wrong..

Fergie was looking for a direct replacement for himself - he thought it was Moysey but in reality the only replacement for Fergie is probably Bealzebub.
united are going to have to go through a long period of replacing the average players they have in the squad unless they can find the miracle cure to re-intimidate the opposition as they're walking out of the tunnel
