With the end of the HSE next month and the replacement costing less will the cost of used HSE's less than a year old go down a lot?

Depends on your viewpoint. Theoretically yes, but I would prefer to look at it that the HSE/HSE Lux in the old format will be somewhat collectors items and "rare". Well, that's my way of dealing with the obvious annoyance in the short term...  Foraging near Gaydon....

I honestly don't think it will. Many people will look at the Metropolis as a different model all together and as the HSE is gone, therefore thinking the HSE is a more desirable car.

The Metrolpolis is will be called HSE Luxury (not HSE Lux) in every other Countryin the world apart from the UK and Russia.

The name change gives LR justification to lower the price as there would be uproar if they kept the HSe badge and dropped the price.

It's all Marketing.

Personally, I am not worried and neither should any other owners.

But I would be off if I had just bought a 2014 HSE Lux at £39k with a few options. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
