Best place to hide spare key/fob inside vehicle

I'm leaving soon on a 10 day solo safari tour and will need to take my spare key

I do not want to keep it on my person in fear of losing both keys at one time, so the next logical step is to hide it in the vehicle itself. I could find myself in situations where getting to the 2nd key will be only option and breaking a window to get to it will be far of the lessor evils

Any good safe place you guys can think of?

The vents below the seats seams like a good spot but not sure how deep they go, perhaps a seat belt panel that can easliy removed?

Before the open bush, I will be staying in one or 2 towns and having my broken into and easily finding the spare fob will not be good

you know in the boot at each side there are little storage bits? if you unscrew them and put the fob somewhere behind/underneath that, then screw it back in it might fit and won't be an obvious place to look.
