jokes about Yorkshire men abound, I take them as a compliment, there only one thing worse than been talked about. etc


Racism in my mind would be something darker than the comments above. I hold no love for racist comments at all,

It can be hard to to differentiate between jokes and offensive comments especially in a forum. I tend to assume they are jokes on first read At work

Racist? No

Factual? Yes. BMW supplied engines to the Luftwaffe (that's why their badge is a propeller!), as Porsche made tank turrets, as Hugo Boss designed and supplied those SS uniforms.

It's all a long time ago and really not worth getting ones knickers in a twirl.

thing is, if there was another war, I think the luftwaffe would be on our side and we'd cheer them on. At work

Didn't realise I would ruffle so many feathers with those Three letters!! Obviously a 120d and Freelander are two completely different beasts. I like this forum for its light hearted banter just hope it was an April fool about racist comment!!!

To be honest I was well chuffed when my German Boss compared a Land Rover to a Spitfire .Mind you his daughter did marry a British Officer a few years ago. Razz
