Hi Folks

Came on to site to sell a boot liner and thought I would give you all an update on my move to BMW.

I was pleased with my FL2 but was getting tired of filling her up not a lot of change from £100 but was achieving around 35mpg.

I changed to a BMW 120d and have really noticed a difference in actual running costs. I fill the Beemer for £60 and get around 50mpg so as a result I save around £100 a month in fuel.

We have a FL2 at work so I still drive one well,until Wednesday! The Freelander was a great car and I would not hesitate in buying another one. With my change of circumstance the Beemer suits my needs.

This is a good forum and was really helpful with the minor niggles I had. By no means any doom and gloom!

Really shocked with the mpg in my X3, averaging 45mpg at present - even saw 50.5mpg on a 80 mile round trip this week which is better than BMW's official figures! My 6 miles commute to work in nose to tail traffic is 34mpg - the LR2 achieved 23mpg average.

My local Esso isn't impressed - I don't visit them as often as I used to..

Exactly right everyone's choice of cars comes down to need money and use!!!!
